Hydrocarbon ministry extends Phase II of current licensing exercise by one month

Congo-Brazzaville is offering more time for suitors to express interest in acquiring acreage in the ongoing licensing exercise.

The Ministry of Hydrocarbons has extended Phase II of the current offshore and onshore licensing round by one month, delaying the bidding deadline from next week to the afternoon of 23 July.

Seismic contractor PGS is collaborating with state owned oil company SNPC to present datasets on open blocks, including the Congo MegaSurveyPlus survey.
